Selah?

Reflections on our time of sailing the Salish on s/v Selah, our Hunter 36. Mostly  Stuart’s reflections, although he’s sure to be quoting  Admiral Linda, from time to time. We’re not new to sailing, but new to the Salish, which makes things interesting.

For the curious, selah is taken from the book of Psalms, where it is translated variously as “reflect on this”, or as an instruction to insert a musical interlude. We’ve had the name for over 30 years, just waiting for October 2010, when we became boat owners in a considered act of folly.

These posts come out of that space.
